Google Feed Manager and Product Feed Manager Version 3.4.0

Release Note: Version 3.4.0

We are excited to announce the latest update to our Google Feed Manager and Product Feed Manager, now available in version 3.4.0. This update brings a host of improvements and new features designed to enhance your experience and the functionality of the plugin.

What’s New in Version 3.4.0:

  • Front-End Makeover: We’ve given the plugin a major facelift, enhancing the look and feel to provide a more intuitive and user-friendly interface.
  • Support Page Addition: A dedicated Support page has been added, making it easier for you to access help and resources directly from within the plugin.
  • Code Optimization: An extensive cleanup of the code has been undertaken, streamlining the plugin’s operation and improving performance.
  • Bug Fix: Resolved an issue where the error message “Function activate_feed_update_schedules() does not exist” appeared due to the removal of the wppfm_feed_update_schedule schedule. This fix ensures smoother operation and stability.
  • New Source Addition: The “Product Main Image” source has been added to the WooCommerce Source list, ensuring the main product image is consistently output, even for product variations.
  • Compatibility Check: The plugin has been tested and confirmed to work seamlessly with WooCommerce version 8.6.1.

Why Updating is Important:

Keeping your plugins updated is crucial for several reasons. Updates bring new features and enhancements and contain fixes for security issues and bugs. Staying current with the latest version ensures your plugin functions optimally and remains compatible with other components of your WordPress site.

Before You Update:

Before proceeding with the update, we strongly recommend backing up your existing product feeds. This precautionary step ensures that your current feed configurations are preserved, allowing for a smooth transition to the new version. You can use the backup function located in the plugin’s settings page to securely save your feeds.
